Distribution and habitat
So far, only known from the Río Atabapo drainage of Colombia. Might also occur in the Río Vaupés drainage (Colombia).
Water parameters
PH : 4 - 5
ppm : As low as possible
My Experience
Among the most peaceful Apistos in my tanks. Even in small tanks they could be kept in groups for a short period of time (!), for example during quarantine.
Breeding
Given the right water parameters, they breed, even in a relatively densely populated tank
