My Experience
The last known export of this species was probably in the year 2000, to Germany.
I got some when in Leticia in Oct.-2014, but lost them all in a tank disaster when I returned to Peru...
Luckily I could have a few more sent to me back home later on, and they arrived Norway in Nov. 2014.
They seem so fare very peaceful, and the wild collected fishes eat everything I offer.
Breeding
For a while I was afraid I'd got only males, but suddenly one of the fishes appeared under a wood with eggs (13. December 2014), and later on with freeswimming fry (see photos).
